I looked up the rules and regulations on the Eurostar website - as long as it is an unassisted knife with a blade that is 3" or less I will be fine...

In UK it's 3" or less cutting edge and no locking mechanisms, only slip joints. Anything else will get you landed in court.

Also you need to use your common sense. If you have any knife on you in certain situations, locking or not, police will use discretionary powers to either confiscate or arrest you. I.E. I would never take even a non locking, sub 3" blade to a pub, football match, etc. Basically, use your common sense.
